I had quite an ok day today - Work and Driving.

Well, people at work today were quite stressed over different things. And I could just sense it. My supervisor was pissed with the arrangements of the wall partitions and all. I do agree with her on that. Guys just don't have the brains to move it somewhere nice and presentable...

Aifung and I are back to doing what we originally were suppose to do and that's great! It's more fun scanning and filing than really doing data entry. At least I get to move. I hate sitting down the whole day! And a colleague is helping us! So nice of him! (He's a manager btw...) :)

I went for driving lesson and today wasn't G and neither was it the ahkong. (He's that age and is a nice guy! Got him for 2 lessons.) Instead, it was a very polite and English speaking instr! SJ, I think you would like him! He's about mid 40's? Anyways, the whole lesson was in English! He only said 3 words of Mandarin: ke yi ma?

I was so used to speaking in Mandarin for lessons and this change was rather uncomfortable. However, he made it sound all so relaxing. I committed quite a bit of mistakes, but he told me to relax and assured me it's ok to make mistakes. If not why are we there to learn right?

We did an evaluation today and went on a test route. I got 40 demerit points just driving outside! Darns...That's a serious major failure already. The passing point is 19 and below demerit points. Hehe! But I am still learning! I want to have 0 demerit points when I take the test! :)

However, out of these 40 points, 14 points were because of the public! Someone jaywallked and another taxi jutted out too much from his pathway and my instrutor said I didn't slow down and take necessary precautions. I did! But too slow...and this man jaywalked in the centre of my lane!! 8 points because of that! Haiz...

After the evaluation, we went on to do some left turns and low speed driving in the circuit. Then he started on S and Crank courses! I finally passed those! And I didn't get onto the kerb! My left leg was numb after that 1 hour of training on the courses and holding onto the clutch. But the instructor said it was well done and I have to thank the instructor who taught me the first few times on these courses, which was CI.

And again, today's instructor asked me whether I have a fixed instructor. He probably saw that CI took me for 11/21 lessons.
And asked me about CI and how come he wasn't teaching me today. LIKE HOW WOULD I KNOW?! (actually I do know he went to Vietnam. BUT how would I know if he wasn't taking me?!) And why would I pay $10+ more to fix an instructor?! I don't have that much money to fix an instructor!! Argh! CI better quick come back and teach me the next and hopefully all the remaining lessons!!

Anyways, today's instructor was really patient and didn't complain about me being slow or whatever. I forgot about the change in bus lane timings and instead of turning into the bus lane, I turned to the right lane beside it. And he told me there's no bus lane at that time (4.54pm.) I forgot because everytime when I did that area, it would be during the bus lane from 430pm. But they changed it to 5pm. Just when the lesson started, I clarified with him on that change in bus lane timings and knew it starts from 5pm! And yet, I forgot about it...he was patient with me and told me it's ok, just relax. And in the circuit, I almost grazed against the kerb. ALMOST!! And that was coz he jammed the brake. Malu-ating. But he just said it was a misjudgment and not to worry. I think the patience level and EQ level of the instructors there are really high!! They don't get angry with you easily! :)

But I just want CI to come back soon and teach me at the next lessons! I can't stand instructors asking me where he is. Anyways, I don't have anymore lessons till Thurs! And so, CI should be back by then. :)
