Friday...




It was a farewell to my director, my first boss.

Angeline, Aifung and myself took quite a few photos with her! Well, it's typical of teenage girls to do so. But I am putting only one up. Anyways, we are so going to miss her! Call me naive or what, but I really think that she is a nice boss. She is not only caring towards her permanent staff, but to us, temporary staff as well! She has given us a lot of opportunity that I doubt I am able to get in other jobs, like taking part in the Roadshow, offering advices and knowledge. Most importantly, she lets me take leave to go for my driving lessons. She is so supportive of our actions and lets us speak freely. She doesn't put on airs and respects everyone's ideas... I have no idea how the others think. Maybe working directly under her would be a different story. But I enjoyed myself there with her being the director and am really thankful to have met her!

And it was also a farewell to a colleague, Celest. She just quit her job without telling us! Well, she told her immediate boss. But still, being colleagues with her for one month, she didn't even say goodbye to us when she left. It's ok...We would have to leave each other one day anyway. We could still meet for lunch. =)

I went Bugis with Angeline on Fri after the goodbyes to the director...

We went to eat at a something-like-dimsum stall outside Icon. The food was ok. But we may not go there again because it's a bit expensive and the food is not really to our liking as it had a different taste. Maybe it had too much of the spring onions in it.

We went for Ritz Mango strudel after that! It was a lot of sweet stuff for one night!

We went clothes shopping after that! There were so many shops having discounts! And it was so tempting to buy almost all that we saw! Of course, we restrained ourselves.

Though the outing was impromtu, it was a great night out!

I have only one driving lesson in June!! The June slots may have opened last night and so many slots that I want are already taken up! And I have only one morning slot! I have not booked the rest because I am not sure of my schedule. However, even if I want to book, there are no slots for me! Is it an April Fool's joke? I hope it is! Because I really need the lessons in june! Argh! It's driving me nuts! At least I have lessons throughout April and 3 in May. After that it's one month's break! Maybe what CI said is coming true: to take 1 month's break! Oh no! I can't!!

to Dawn: The instructors are bored...They have nothing much to do except sit in the car and fear that you would lose control of the car anytime! haha! So, they would crap up some things to talk about. E stands for my driving instructor's name. CI is the other initial that I use in my entries. CI = cute instructor. hehe! So, E and CI are referring to the same person. I would want to watch disney movies soon too!! =)
