It was a holiday for me when many others celebrating/commemorating Good Friday. Anyways, I had a great time out with Mum and Dad in the morning with breakfast and then to grandparents house. In the afternoon, Mum and I went to Bugis to shop!! It wasn't very crowded. So, 2 of us had some little time together! Love shopping with her because she gives the great advices! Ok...I give in to her most of the time.

We walked into the shop MU. I think it's a new shop in Bugis. The clothes there are totally cool! It's quite unique and the material is nice! But I couldn't bring myself to buy it coz it's not really what I would wear everyday. Mum was prepared to buy one for me! But I didn't really want to spend on it.

So, we walked on...we went to almost every shop in Bugis! And I remembered I got a $20 Sembawang voucher from BK. So, I asked Mum casually if she had anything she wanted from Sembawang. I was hoping the answer would be no, and that I could use the voucher to buy Farenheit CD or something else. But little did I expect...

"OH!! You have a voucher??!! Yes! I want to buy a CD!"

Ok...I thought she was going to buy some English CD and maybe some OLD guy's CD or compilation.

"OK! What CD?"
"S.H.E!"

OH MY!!! S.H.E?!?!

I WAS STUNNED!!

My mouth opened wide and I stared at her! All she did was to smile sweetly...

I still can't believe it.

And she likes the song "Persian Cats" (bo si mao) and could even sing the song to me!

Now, how's that? My mum knows the songs...

And she wanted the recent concert DVD to watch the dancing and all...

Well, her little daughter here would do anything to make her happy! And getting her the DVD is easy. Bugis didn't have it. So, I got the guy to call Parkway Sembawang for me and reserved one for me. $23.90. And all I paid was $3.90. :)

I asked her how she knew about S.H.E. and she said it was because of Fei Ge that show - Zong Yi Da Ge Da. She watched an episode where they invited S.H.E. over and they sang that bo si mao song, and she saw the recent advertisement on the concert DVD. So, I suppose that's how she got to know about them. But I am still shocked that she actually asked me to buy a Chinese CD. Times have changed...

I felt really guilty getting a cross stitch magazine at Kinokuniya! I saw the price and my jaw dropped. But it can't be helped because it's imported from the UK. I showed my mum the mag and she said, "oh...$12.90. You want? Then get it!!"

She shocked me again with that "Then get it!". And she added, "You are working so you have the money to!"

Right...her idea was that I should get it on my own if I wanted it. I got it anyway. Next time, Sarah Jane, you would have to be with me!! =)

We went for some dessert at the foodcourt and it was a horrible experience. I am so pissed by the attitude of the aunties at the dessert stall. I shan't say it here. Humphs!

Sat 7 April.

We had Alumni practice again and we are progressing! I am so happy that I decided to join them! The seniors are great and the singing was enjoyable! Met some juniors too! Sat's practice would be in school! And frankly speaking, I really miss school...and the music room! =)

I didn't join the seniors for lunch instead, met Azzimah with You Han for lunch at Banquet, Parkway Parade. It was a bit of catching up that we made! We walked around for a while before making our way to the library. We parted after that and I went to tuition my cousins. Tuition was great and we had fun! :)

It's a long wait till my next driving lesson on Thurs!! But 4 days would pass very quickly. =)
