The day started out relatively well. Just that my throat hurts real badly. Must be because of all the ice cream I ate during the week! Oops!

I really didn't feel like getting out of bed and going out. But I had to! I had etrial at 915am and practical lesson at 1020am. I couldn't bear to let the instructor stand in the hot sun, pumping oil for the other cars. Most importantly, I cannot let the $58.80 that I paid go to waste! So, I dragged myself out of the house, went for etrial in the freezing room. I did 4 papers but failed all by 1 question! So irritating! 1 question only! I couldn't do more than 4 papers as by the time I finished, I was already freezing! I left the trial test early by 15 mins.

I met Shuzzie and went to find our cars together.

And I am super touched by what CI said today...

I have 2 quite permanent instructors. 1 is CI and the other is G. Quite recently, I found out that G and CI are good friends! And I ever told CI that I don't like G coz he played music that I didn't like while I was driving. Maybe CI did tell him that and I haven't heard him playing music from the phone anymore!

Anyways, I found my car and stood there waiting for my instructor. I have no idea who it would be today. But I knew it wasn't going to be CI (he has his fixed car). When I saw CI and G walking towards my car, I was relieved as I didn't mind G taking me for lesson too! CI and G were chatting and laughing when they saw me. CI waved and gave me a sad face.

G: Eh! He (CI) said that he wants to teach you today leh!
Me: Huh? Why leh? Can ah?
G: Yah loh. If want then swop loh.
CI (looks at his car and saw the girl he was going to teach and then shook his head in disappointment - ok, thats a bit of exaggaration): Haiz...next time lah...
M: You not scared ah? That time already bang your car...

In the car...

Me: Why he suddenly want to change?
G: Don't know him lah...I said that I am going to teach Ruixian. Then he said, "Rachel ah? Registration number ________"
M: Wah! He remembers ah? Even the registration number?!
G: Ya loh! He can remember!
M: Maybe it's because I brought his car up the curb many times...
G: Huh?! What did you do?!

And then i told him what happened at the horrendous lesson last week. G just laughed his head off! Oh no! Looks like I am the basis for jokes between the 2 of them already...

At the end of the lesson, when we changed over, CI's car happened to have parked behind mine. He chuckled as we changed over.

G: He (CI) a bit crazy today. Just now still smile at me...But that's our little secret.
M: Eeee...eh..what secret? Can share a bit or not?
G: cannot lah...then no more secret between him and me already!
M: Oh...then nevermind lah...As long as it's not about me ok le!
G: (Laughs really loud!) HAHAHHAHA!!! erm...you think leh?!

Oh no! I have a bad feeling... I have really became their source of jokes. Well, at least G said I did well today but still committing some basic mistakes like changing gear and checking of blindspots. At least I improved. And he said he would tell CI about today! I have no idea if that was a good suggestion or not. What if I get CI tomorrow and I don't perform like I did today?! Darns, this is getting stressful!

I went off with Shuzzie and Gillian and we chatted about the mistakes we make during the lessons. Well, looks like the mistakes we commit are rather common among learners! =)

I was freezing at work, feeling really sick and drowsy. Had only a blueberry cheese with raisin bun for lunch, but I really had no appetite. And I just had to decide to file the papers today, bending down and standing up. And almost getting crushed because Aifung just had to turn the cupboard without checking I was there. I screamed but throat just was too pain to scream! Luckily she stopped turning it, if not, I would have been crushed flat!

At least I finished some really backdated work!

I think I am becoming too comfortable with the place and people already. Adrian, the IT support guy who sits diagonally behind me, would come to my table now and then to borrow the staple. Today, he came over to borrow again...

A: Staple please?
M: Somewhere...
A: Aw! Good lah! Now can answer like that ah! Attitude already ah?!
M: Huh?! (Stunned)

But it was the truth! It was somewhere! And not as if I wasn't searching for it!!

I am not angry at him or whatever, coz he was joking as he laughed as he said that. Btw, he did compliment me and asked if I could be his assistant! Well, on the condition that he pays me extra, maybe I can consider! I have been helping him for free already loh...by helping him to take his printouts!

2 months and 10 days into the job, how can anyone not be comfortable with the people around?! =) I just love my job that is!
