Today was just a great day! No no...better than yesterday of course!!
- Mum and I took MRT to Eunos together!! =) (That's something good coz my mum and I hardly take public transport together!)
- Got to driving centre early again. Found my car!
- Didn't rain!! (Even though it was drizzling when I got to the CDC.)
- Got my CI (cute instructor) again!!
- Started off well! Remembered my signals, my braking, my blindspots!
- Started getting a bit tired. The atmosphere was stressful. We were silent for a long time. And it was really awkward. But I just concentrated on driving. It's better that he doesn't say anything. That would mean that I didn't do anything wrong.
- Neck was really painful halfway thru the lesson! That's because of all the checking of the blindspots and turnings. I hate those! But really loved the straight roads where I went at 60km/h! That's the fastest that learners can go. I wanted to change up to gear 5 but CI stopped me! Hehe! That was a consolation! If not I have to change down gear so many times when we get to a stop.
- CI said that he doesn't mind teaching me coz I brighten up his day and bring excitement into his life! (hidden meaning behind. But I just listen to the good stuff!) Whatever it was, it was really funny! And laughter filled the car!
- I shouted at him again, by accident! (so paiseh loh! Long story...)
- And he kept making fun of an oldtime joke that happened a month ago...And that made me do the wrong things!! "Jia you!!" (Made me lose my life...)
- Thurs...Again. Hope it would be better!!

LEARNING TO DRIVE IS SO DIFFICULT!!
Well, it's probably because I am a slow learner and can't really multitask. Driving really takes a lot of patience and concentration. Slowdown, brake lightly, clutch, .Tonight's lesson just pissed me off and I am never going to learn in the night again! It's much more expensive anyway! And I found it really difficult to concentrate. The lights were glaring!
And the worse thing was that my instructor didn't scold me. He wasn't pissed with me! How can anyone keep such coolness and not be pissed with someone he has been teaching so long and yet keeping the same mistakes! That made me real guilty. I am not trying hard enough.
But I am really thankful that I could have such a patient instructor and take off that extra stress of fearing that he would blow up anytime. Well, another lesson with him tmr morning. And both of us were like, "I am seeing you again?!"
I wasn't expecting him at all today!! Seriously not! I didn't think that he would teach in the night! But looks like he did today! Anyways, no more night lessons for me!
I met Mich and her mum at the driving centre! I had a partner to wait with me for lesson to start! And her car was just behind mine! =) Hmm....who would I meet tmr?

Yesterday's driving lesson was one of the best so far. But today's...haiz...even the cute instructor was saying, "Yesterday so good! Today leh? Why like that leh?"
Today's lesson was really bad...bad...bad!!!!! Almost died...Almost killed...Almost anything but perfect.
Shan't say anymore. Really depressing. And he was utterly disappointed in me! Argh! I just ruined his day like that! (I was the first student of the day.) At the rate I am going, I don't know when I am going to sit for my test and get my license. Haiz...
And Angeline just told me that the next earliest test date for practical driving is 14 May!! May leh! And by the time I take my FTT, it should be June already! And I book so many lessons in March!!! Argh!!

I am late...Nonetheless, its still CNY right? It's the 4th day today!
Office was as empty as Fri (CNY eve)...And so were the roads!! hehe!
I had a great time on the road today as I drove all the way up to Tampines! Drove on the highway! And did many turnings. I am so happy!! Well, I did improve even though being away from the car for at least a week already. I did stall the car just as I started...and another time outside. Other than that, I didn't stall!! Whee~~
OH OH!! I got that same instructor - young, cute and funny guy!! (I think Weirdz must be getting tired of me msging them about this...so, I only msged Shaz! Haha! I made her super jealous!) And I was his first student after the new year! Glad that at least I didn't need to make him write a report. :)
There's going to be another lesson tmr morning!! And it may be him again! Oh no...I am getting addicted to driving because of him! That's bad...
Anyways, I have a whole long string of lessons lined up and I think I have booked too many. Well, I need the practice...And I get to meet friends like Shuzhen. I met Samuel too after my lesson by chance!

I was online the whole night and managed to book 4 driving lessons! Not bad! it was like fishing...You know, wait for people to release the bait and I would eat!! Yup!
And there were so many nice slots!! Like weekday morning or weekday afternoons! Or else it was on days that I couldn't make it! Urgh! And I can't take anymore leave! Wendy Jie will just kill me! I am feeling rather paiseh that I have to take so many halfdays and without her disapproving. So, I shall be nice and not take anymore other than the ones I have already told her. Sian...
I have so many things on hand to do and I shall finish them and hand in the work on time. Efficient and Effective. Hopefully, I can complete the project before leaving. Really love to see that things are in order!! =)
Today's driving lesson was rather alright...I thought I improved. But looks like I didn't. Ok, I should say it was bad. Horrible. Terrible. Still stalling which shouldn't be the case. Haiz..must get rid of the kancheong-ness in me and remember to brake and clutch in!! And must also remember to release the clutch slowly! But there were really lots of other things that made me go mad while driving. And can't those on the roads give way to the poor little girl here who is having trouble driving properly?! Give way and stop horning and stressing me out!! (Hmm...that's should be the case actually...But it's not as if I want to drive so slowly and not to your standards right?!!)
There were other things that made me pissed...and spoilt my day...But the people at work were just good at relieving my stress and "pissed mood". Thanks to Aifung especially, for not making me even more pissed! haha! Just joking. Really, thanks for trying to at least cheer me up by smiling a little. =)
And thanks to Angeline for being able to share my plight - trying to book driving lessons and getting pissed at the instructors.

The day was eventful! (Well, everyday of my life is eventful!) As usual, this post is going to be rather long...
I love going to work! Despite the atrocious MRT rides I have to take everyday...
The morning was usual - busy and helping out the jie jies. Getting pissed by some people. And chatting with the girl beside me.
Going for lunch was great too! We went to Great World City with some problem getting there. Wendy, Ann and Celest took one cab. Angeline and I decided to take bus 33. The cabs didn't want to fetch 5 people in one cab. So, Angeline and I boarded the bus and the uncle said we had to change to bus 195 down the road somewhere. When we got off bus 33, we waited for 195 for 10 mins before deciding to ask bus 14 Uncle. He said we had to go opposite to take the bus!! We got pissed and wondered if we were at the right place. And that bus stop didn't tell us the bus routes! We asked the people at the bus stop and they said wait for 195 there. Ok...we waited...and a guy told us that we had to wait for the bus which is quite long, and then the ride would take HALF AN HOUR!! It was already 1230pm. (We left office about 1210pm.) We decided to take a cab. And the Uncle told us, HALF AN HOUR!! We were like siao! Then might as well take the bus and pay lesser! The uncle then said he was only joking. He got us to Great World City in 10 mins. Haiz...when we got there, the jie jies already finished their lunch. Luckily they said they were going to buy bedsheets. So, Angeline and myself went to eat Cinnamon Roll at this shop at B1 of Great World City. I can't remember the name of the shop. But it's really a nice coffeehouse and it's great for friends to meet up and chat there! We each had a cinnamon roll - I had Banana Cinnamon roll and Angeline had the Choc chip Cinnamon roll. They heated it up! Really yummy! We then went for Ice cream! After than, we met the jie jies when we finished. And just nice, they had bought their stuff!

The afternoon passed and the early evening came. The kor kors came back and the place was filled with chatter! And we said our goodbyes as we started the weekend! Life would be boring if not for their jokes and teases!!
Angeline, Aifung and I left office really late...that was coz we were waiting for Ann to pack and we helped her with the many things she bought earlier in the day. It was her last day before going for her maternity leave. She is a nice lady who has helped and taught me a lot...See you soon, Ann jie jie!

I finally got into Dad's car after a long MRT ride. It felt long coz I was rather tired.
In the car...
Dad: Are you hungy?
Me: Ya!! Very hungry!!!
D: ok, we go home then...
M: OH! Mummy cooked?!
D: No...later then I would go out to buy.
M: Huh? Must wait for later ah?! I go with you to buy now lah! Why wait?
D: Nike at home. Need to ask him what he wants to eat.
M: No need la! Call him lah! Then we can go straight to buy!
D: Mum at home also. You know lah...go home and ask her better. Anyway, I have already turned.
M: Then turned out again lah! It's faster that way! It's already so late!
D: No lah! Go home lah!
M: Then why did you bother asking me if I am hungry?!
I stepped into the house and Mum was at the stairs smiling very happily...
Mum: Quick come up! Go and see your room!
Me: Ok...why is she so happy? (I was speaking under my breath.)
Mum: Why am I so happy? Just go and see! (Wow! She heard me!)
I asked her about dinner as I made my way up. She didn't reply. I saw balloons on my bed and the laptop on my bed. My pic was on the laptop!! And the cursor was on the play button...
Me: What am I suppose to do with it?! (No reply.)
I put my bag down and was thinking of whether to press the play button or not. I was thinking of taking my clothes and going for a shower. You know, after a tiring day...
But I decided to press the play button...
A video began playing.
Me: Who hijacked the photos from my computer?! (I thought Mum had taken them from my laptop to make the video.)
I carried on watching and realised it may not have been her because I have not seen some of the pics before!
Halfway through, a birthday song began...and a cake with candles lighted appeared from the family area. And many people followed behind! I did expect probably something like that was going to happen because of the video and I loved planning surprises. But never did I expect I would get it! And with the people who appeared! It wasn't just one group of friends that appeared! It was 2!! Weirdz + Vivianne, Mich and Huda. Ili came later.
I had my birthday song, my wish, my cutting of cake, my presents, my hugs in my room!!! It was just special! (and now I knew why my mum told me to clean my room like days before. I thought she meant for CNY. And I kept telling her no one would come into my room during CNY!)
Shaz and SJ offered to cook! But I knew they wouldn't as Shaz would just burn the kitchen down and SJ would cause my microwave oven to blow! I would have trusted Az to cook...but she was sick (supposedly on MC.)
Nah...we went downstairs and I had my favourite!!
KFC!!
However, it wasn't enough. So, we called Canadian Pizza!
We sat round the table, watched TV and chat. It was great having two groups of friends there, just that I was worried each group had felt left out. I am glad that at least they had things to talk about - Disney Channel and cartoons...(We watched Hercules btw!)
Well, all cleared out by 10+pm with Mich, Ili and Huda leaving first, Az, SJ and Shaz leaving about 9+pm, and Di + Vi leaving at 10+pm. There's still cake left! If Az and SJ hadn't left so early, they would have cleared the cake!
While I was cutting the cake, I realised that the cake only had 9 candles!! Why?!! Because they said, 'The cake was too small! We didn't know how to put 19 candles in!' Well, that proves one thing...they never lighted a birthday cake. If not, they didn't know there was such a thing as a big candle!!
The night ended with my mum and dad finishing the chicken and the coleslaw. (Shaz! You forgot to bring it home!!)

Ziwei, Mel and LC were missing that night due to various reasons!! And that was sad...But I appreciated all that was planned for me!
Thanks specially to LC for planning this whole thing and making sure it went well even though you weren't here. No worries. It went well, even though not perfect! =) And we had a great chat last night even though you were tired....2.5 hours leh! We broke record already...Thanks lots sis for the buying and FEDEX-ing of the presents!!

It's my Chinese birthday today also for the record! So, it's double birthday! =)
I stayed at home and packed my room for Chinese New Year is coming! Like...a week?!
And my friends just had to see the messy side of me...haiz...Az! you should have stayed to clean the room with me! hehe!! It would sure to be spick and span!
I went over to my grandparents place in the afternoon as we prepared for our reunion dinner. We were having it a week earlier coz going over to 2 grandparents place in a night is tiring. So, we decided to have it earlier.
Then I had another cake!! Which was another wish! Whee~
And there was Auntie Annie who celebrates her birthday on this day too!! So, this year's birthday was really different!
Well...my birthday is over and I start my 19th year of my life...
There are many things that I regret not having done. However, circumstances didn't allow me to do the things I had wanted to. Hopefully, if I have a chance, I would be able to do them this year! It's going to be a rollercoaster ride and I would face uncertainties. But, being wiser and stronger, I should be able to overcome all difficulties with God's help!

I am troubled by something, however, I don't wish to blog about it. Instead, I have many happy things to talk about!!
Alright, the day at work was fine. Got pissed by some questions, but I think I was just being impatient because I had quite a bit of things to do and the questions were actually asked before. Well, it's alright. I rather the person asked than create more mess when in doubt. Patience is a virtue >_<
I completed many thick files today!! At last I cleared some backlogged work! Moving on to the next letter soon! Whee!
Anyways, I took halfday today and needed to go to Tiong Bahru plaza to buy something and then head off to my driving lesson. And guess what?! I met the boss at the lift lobby.
Boss: Going for lunch?
Me: Erm, no. I am leaving.
B: Leaving?! It's your last day?!
M: Orh...no no! I am leaving for the day. (OOPSZ!)
B: Oh, I see! You scared me! We can't do with you leaving!
M: I am just leaving for driving lessons later in the day.
Then we talked about driving lessons and test etc. And at the ground floor lobby, we stood there chatting for a while, before she said,
B: Are you off to anywhere near? Maybe like the MRT station? I could give you a lift if you don't mind!
M: Oh no! It would be taking up your time!
B: No problems! Driving there is easy and fast! Come on, my car is there!
We talked about how to address each other. Well, she still remembers my name! >.< and I asked how to address her. Being in the office for at least a month already, I have not greeted her with salutations. She said just call her by name and no need for the formalities such as Ms, Mrs, Mr etc. The people just call each other by name or nicknames. Just like one family...
While driving out to the main road, boss asked me where I was actually going. I said Tiong Bahru. She said, " OH!! TIong Bahru Plaza ah?! Say so earlier! I can just send you all the way there! No problems!"
I was all red. So paiseh! But I couldn't say no...
We chat about how work was, whether it was so boring, and the people there. I spoke in honesty and she listened. She didn't show any displeasure etc. She said that they were very open to suggestions and I think that's what makes a good leader! Much as she is a director, she doesn't portray that kind of very fierce and unapproacable face and doesn't put on airs. She asked what i called the others in office - uncle, aunties? I said - gege, jie jies. I could call you jie jie if you want! She said, 'Ok! no problem!
I have no idea if she is joking or what, but it would just seem funny if I call her jie jie...It's already funny that I don't address her with salutations.
Wells, it's this kind of working environment that I love to work in!

I met Shuzhen just now at the driving centre and we managed to book lessons!! Woah! You have to understand that it is terrible booking lessons online especially when the internet page just takes ages to load! And while we stood there waiting for the page to load, it made us look like we were hogging the computer and not doing anything at all. And it's so hard to even get one lesson that fits our schedule.
Driving lesson today was just fun, fun and FUN!! And guess what?! I got the same instuctor that I got on my 2nd lesson! (It's my 5th today.) So happy! This guy is one nice guy! Mean at sometimes, but it was fun having him as the instructor!
I am going to sound like a bimbo with the following statements, but I DON'T CARE! =)
He is cute, funny and a little above average in terms of looks. Humourous and he is billingual! He even wanted to teach me in Mandarin if he gets me the next lessons. That's because I was telling him I prefer Chinese radio channels and had fun speaking to the instructor I got on Mon in Mandarin. So, he began to ask me what the parts of the car was in Mandarin! I only knew the accelerator = you2 men3.
I don't know what the others were! Like clutch, brakes etc. I told him, 'By the time you tell me what to do in Mandarin ah, you would have to write report already! (Because I may have crashed.)' I woud'nt be able to register what he said! Much as it is happening already!
There was just so many things that happened during driving today!! So many funny and exciting parts! Oh! And he saved my life! Haha! Words just can't express my thanks to him for saving my life! Wait...That's his job isn't it?! Aiya! it was just malu-ating!
And so, I enjoyed myself on this driving lesson and as well as stressed out!! Seriously freaked out at some parts!
Maybe I should take Azzimah's and Lee Chen's words really hard - Not to keep thinking about the instructor. Hehe!!
Looking forward to my next lesson!! And hoping I would get this instructor again! Muahahaha!!

I just told Dawn in an email that it's rather hot here and there has been little rain of late. The next thing that I heard was the pitter patter sounds of the raindrops on my parapet. At least the weather is cool...
Just managed to chat with zhen on the phone!! It's been a long time since we had such a long chat especially with our different working schedules. She works while I am free and she is free while I work. Glad that we were able to get some things off our chest!!! =)

I have finally finished watching Tree of Heaven! I couldn't resist the temptation after watching 1 ep. So, I finished the remaining 3 eps and only ended at 1am. The ending is sad...sad...sad... And its a show Shazana is going to get angry coz it isn't the ending she wants. You know like most Korean dramas...The couple who are madly in love always face a lot of difficulties either from parents and/or the people around them. Circumstances normally go against them. And when they finally decide that they are going against all odds and want to spend the rest of their lives together no matter what happens, one faces with a terminal illness or else one gets pursued by authorities and the couple gets broken up.
It's really sad in Tree of Heaven because the guy already made up the decision to be with the girl and that he is going to correct himself and get back onto the straight and decent road. However, he faces persecution by the triads and dies (not telling how he died). It was really dramatic. But the will that he lived on and said his last wishes before saving the girl really touched me.
It was another tear jerking drama series and though it being a short one with only 10 eps and about an hour or so per ep, it really brought about much tears of joy and laughter and with tears of sadness.
To Shazana, you would need your tissue box. =)

Today is a great day! I witnessed the holy matrimony of Sis Angelia and Bro. Jonathan. One loving couple who have been together for 7 year+ already! The church wedding ceremony was short and sweet. It took only half and hour! But during that time, I already had the urge to tear. It is really touching when the bride walks down the aisle and her eyes meet her husband-to-be's eyes. And they smile at each other...
The next was when they put the rings on each other and exchanged marriage vows. And then when the groom lifted the veil and kissed the bride. And finally when they marched out hand in hand at the end...
I would really love a church wedding. Well, a must my husband must give me! hehe! But that's still quite a way down life's road...

I finally took a step into the Bedok Stadium Track and RAN!!! RAN 7 ROUNDS!! Mind you, 7 ROUNDS!! That's 2.8km!
No big deal to many people. But it is a big deal to me ok! Especially not having ran on the track since...before A levels ah? That long!! And I didn't stop while I ran ok!
I could have gone on somemore. But I thought I shouldn't. Running must be in moderation too! hehe!
It would be a weekly affair for me and my colleagues. Well, it's Aifung and Angeline. Hehe! Every Friday, we would head down to Bedok Stadium after work for a jog. It's a relaxation after a hard week at work.
Well, the week has been great for me at work! And it's kinda stress free. I am probably going to stay there for the rest of "holiday" I am having. This company is seriously cool! They are one big family and I am part of it! It's been 4 weeks and I am really feeling the love, and friendship they show towards temp staff. I am not sure how they treat one another there but they sure treat temp staff well. I get fed every tea break with titbits. And the boss treats everyone with politeness.
Share with you an incident that happened on wed.
I was at the scanner and the boss can see me. Her secretary called me and said the boss is looking for me. I muttered. OH NO! It must be because I was wearing my slippers! (It wasn't beach slippers. But the more formal kind.) The secretary said no lah...
I went in to the boss' office and she said,
"CHOCOLATES FOR YOU??!!"
I was stunned!! She offered me chocolates that one of the managers bought for her. (The manager bought it as a farewell present. She was leaving.)
"Thank you so much, but I have already had. (The manager had bought for the admin dept also but different. It was individually packed - dark milk chocolate and white milk chocolate.)"
"Oh! Same ones?"
"Nope."
"Then go ahead and try this! It's really nice! Come on!"
"Alright. Thank you! Oh no! I took 2! (They were stuck together.)"
"Aiya! Never mind lah! You want some more?? If you don't eat, I would finish it all by myself! Then I would grow fat!! So, you all must help me!"
"Haha! No lah..you won't. You would just be happier! Chocolates make a person happy!!" Well, it sure did make me happy! =)
The chocolates were the not so sweet kind with cocoa powder toppings. Hmm...It was just fantastic!!

And there was a lot of hello panda going around yesterday. I bought the one big packet kind that had many small individually packed ones and there was milk, chocolate, strawberry, peanut-choc and cheese flavour! So, I offered Ann (secretary) the cheese ones because we were talking about it at lunch for the past few days but never got down to eating it during tea. Finally, we had it yest afternoon. And she gave me a pack of strawberry flavoured hello pandas! (Chinese saying - Li3 shang4 wang 3 lai2) I shared it with my colleagues of course!

And I spoke to the salesperson who sold the printers to MJ. We had a very funny talk. I told him I don't know how to use the printers and that he didn't come and train. He said, "Next time I go to MJ, you follow la! I teach you then you can teach your juniors!" ...No comments.
Anyways, if anyone wants to buy printers, photocopiers, scanners, look for me!! I kinda know some handsome salesman whom might be able to help you! hehe!!

There are now 2 new staff in my dept and I had to train them on thurs! So fun! Hehe! One is Celest - my supervisor's assistant and the other is Aifung! Yup! She is working with me now! It's not so quiet now in the afternoons. =)

I finally got my first pay!! But it is all gone. Some to my parents, some to buying things for my grandparents and relatives, and some to my treat to my bro tonight. Yup, I treated him to Mcdonald's dinner coz mum and dad are at the wedding dinner. And I didn't mind the Mcdelivery because if I went out to buy, my travelling cost would be more than $2. (ADULT FARE LEH!!)
And the rest of the pay went into paying for my driving lessons...

Shazana is tempting me!!! Urgh!! I am going to exercise on the stationary bike now because, it's only that way that I get to watch Tree of Heaven. (The DVD player is there at the stationary bike...)
